Like a Phoenix Rising From The Ashes! Leaving our event at Carolina Motorsports Park, we had a very broken car and we knew we had a lot of work to do to get ready for the MidWest Festival. The team got to work immediately identifying what we had broken, what we needed to order and what our plan of attack was going to be. The list was long and there were many ideas we threw around but Eric and Gregg picked the plan they thought would be best and got to work. They started by cutting away everything in the car that was bent and broken as well as putting the car on a frame machine to check that everything was ok. A large portion of the forward front frame rails needed to be cut, a new driver side engine mount fabricated and most of the inner fenders needed to be removed as they were just too damaged.
